An attempt at painting outside in the open air! A4 size paper done quickly in 2 sessions as the rains came down (see the top edges of the painting where i could not shield it from the rain
), sitting on the rocks looking over the estuary from Borth-Y-Gest, in North Wales.
I like how quick it is, and the fact i had to work expressively but there are things i'd change and this would look very different if i was working at a desk, from a photo...
I have to fight the urge to do extra on it, every time i look at it
