Description
A wooden footpath sign covered with ivy leaves near Peatswood, Shropshire. I saw this sign whilst out walking in the Spring and just had to take some photos. I knew I would want to paint it as soon as I could, such a beautiful country scene!

Really enjoyed painting this one, even though masking fluid is a bit of a pain
It was so much fun mixing all those greens.
The background is sponged with 'bubble-wrap', the tall grasses and twigs are masking fluid and the rest is all brushwork.
Watercolours, masking fluid on 300gsm paper.
